Kent Wagner
Kent grew up in New Hampshire and his love for the outdoors began early in life while hiking, climbing, skiing and running rivers in the northeast. After studying music in college he moved west in 1987 to pursue outdoor activities and photography. Kent is presently a senior guide for Rainier Mountaineering Inc. (RMI) in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, and also guides for International Mountain Guides in Mexico and South America.
He has guided more than 50 river trips through the Grand Canyon and leads backcountry
skiers in the wilderness areas of Colorado, Utah and Arizona. His work in photography has been featured in numerous outdoor magazines and catalogs. He lives in Boulder, Colorado.
Gary Talcott
Gary has enjoyed the mountains since learning to ski at the age of three at Paradise in Washington’s Mount Rainier National Park. He began guiding at Rainier Mountaineering, Inc. (RMI) in 1984, and has accumulated 215 ascents of Mount Rainier and completed 7 Mount McKinley expeditions. Gary has also climbed and guided in Canada, the Cascades, the Rockies, South America, Europe and Nepal. The 2001 RMI Mount McKinley expedition he led was featured in National Geographic: Traveler. Still an avid skier, Gary has also instructed and coached alpine skiers for over 20 years.
Casey Grom
Casey started climbing in the confines of the Ohio cornfields in 1993. After a number of years of honing his skill throughout the country, he began guiding for Go Trek in 2000. Since then he has guided in Alaska (Mt. Balckburn & Mt. McKinley) and peaks in South America and Mexico. In the winter he teaches ice climbing in Vermont at Smuglers Notch. Casey is also a Senior Guide for Rainier Mountaineering Inc. He also guides throughout the Cascades. When he is not guiding for Go Trek, he can be found outside rock and ice climbing.
