Everest Base Camp Trek

High elevation, cool to cold alpine environment and accommodations in tented camps, Sherpa homes and hotels in Kathmandu highlight this Mt. Everest trek. No place on earth has such a high concentration of awesome peaks. The mountains are closely packed and white with hanging glaciers or so steep there is only bare rock towering above you. Once you reach 12,000 feet you will stay at or above this elevation for the duration of the walk. When trekking in Nepal, you don't look at the mountains from afar ... you look up at them, because they're all around you.
