Mt. Hood
At 11,239 feet, this beautiful cone-shaped peak is the highest point in Oregon. Unlike many of the Cascade volcanoes, this is a reasonable one-day climb . if you're new to the sport, this is the one to try! A one-day Go Trek Climbing School is followed by a summit attempt via the standard south side route. This can also be a multiple day seminar trip. There are also intermediate climbing routes, most notably the Sunshine route on the north side. We do a classic traverse on this three-day guided climb: up the north side, over the top and down the south side.
