Mt. Rainier
Washington's majestic Mt. Rainier is 14,411 feet high and the most glaciated peak in the lower 48 states. It is considered to be the toughest endurance climb in the continental United States and provides supreme terrain for developing alpine climbing skills. The standard route is the Disappointment Cleaver route. A minimum guided climb is three days including climbing school and a two-day summit climb, however days can be added depending on group interest. There are many other challenging routes to the summit of Mt. Rainier including Liberty Ridge, the Kautz route and the Tahoma Glacier route.
All members of our Go Trek team are guides for Rainier Mountaineering Inc. (RMI). We can work with you or your group through RMI, to arrange for private guided climbs and instruction. For more information, contact us. |
